Why are your prices so competitive?

Yorkshire stoves direct are an internet based company and don't have the same overheads of high street shops and sales staff. The cost savings are quite significant and we simply pass these savings directly on to our customers. Even a relatively small showroom will cost over £40,000 a year to run and if the stove installation takes two days most high street showrooms will have to charge an additional £350 to each job just to pay for the shop! High street shops are not trying to "rip you off" as some customers put it, but you are paying for the service of having that high street shop. That said, buying the stove from a reputable company and having a point of contact should anything go wrong is still a safer and cheaper options than buying an unknown stove from the Internet and having your builder say " yet I think I can fit that".

Here at Yorkshire Stoves we try to bridge the gap between the professional and quality service you should expect from a high street showroom and the irresponsible sale of cheap cast-iron stoves fitted by an incompetent builder (I would estimate that last year over 70% of the stoves sold in the UK have been fitted by none HETAS registered installers as people try to cut costs, unaware of the dangers involved).

Yorkshire Stoves aim to provide : 

1. Customers with the same level of service as you would expect from a high street shop.
2. A high level of installation standard by never using sub contractors for stove installations or chimney work (all our installers are HETAS trained, employed by the company and install to the standards and procedures laid out by Yorkshire Stoves).
3. The cost of the stove (including installation and chimney work) to be as competitive as possible without having to resort to the use of sub contractors for the stove installation, or irresponsibly selling stoves outside our service area.
