A Catalytic Stove is a wood burning stove with a catalytic combustor built into the flue spigot of the stove, this works in the same way in catalyst convector in a car exhaust does. The smoke passes through a chemically coated honeycomb which is the catalyst. This reacts with the smoke allowing the user the burn much cleaner at lower burn rates. Meaning lower wood consumption with higher efficiency as a result of this.
